Director’s Classic Tournament: 

Points to Remember!!!

• Qualification:
  • All USA BASSIN Directors are welcome to participate in Director’s Classic.
  • Licensed Guides currently guiding Kentucky Lake are not eligible to participate in the Director’s Classic.
  • Any angler that wins this event 3 times will not be eligible to participate in any future Director’s Classic.
• Dates:
  • The Lake will be open to pre-fishing (The Lake will not be closed!!)
  • Official Practice will open starting October 15th, 2024.
    • During the Official Practice days teams may not use a Guide or communicate with anyone that is not fishing the Director’s Classic to gain an advantage over the rest of the field.
  • Registration & Pretournament Meeting: November 9th, 2024
  • Tournament Day: November 10th, 2024
• Registration & Pretournament Meeting:
  • Registration for this event will be located at the Kentucky Dam Ramp starting at 4:00pm (Central Time) Saturday, November 9th, 2024, with the pretournament meeting to follow at approximately 5:00pm (Central Time). One member of the team must be present at the pre-tournament meeting, or the team will be disqualified. You may use a proxy if you and your teammate are unable to attend. There will not be a Proxy Fee for this event.
• Entering the Event:
  • The entry fee for this event is $150.00.
  • All mailed-in entries must be post marked by October 15th, 2024.
  • USA BASSIN will accept a VISA or Master Card payment until October 30th, 2024 (There will be a 7% Service Fee for paying with a credit card)
  • We will accept entries into the event at registration for this event.
  • This event is limited to 250 teams.
  • Boat numbers will be given out based on when we receive your entry.
• Refunds: 
  • If the Director is contacted before or on October 15th, 2024, USA BASSIN will only refund $120.00 of the Entry Fee.
  • After October 15th, 2024, there will Not be a Refund of the Entry Fee.
  • To receive your refund, please e-mail your mailing address along with the name of the event to: customerservice@usabassin.com.
• Weather Delays and Cancelations:
  • Small Watercraft Wind Advisory: If the wind is projected to be 18mph (based on The Weather Channel App) at any time during the Tournament Hours the director will cancel that day of the tournament.
  • In the event of extreme weather conditions such as Tornados, Tornado Warnings, Lightning, or the tournament director will put the tournament on hold until all warnings expire, or the storms have passed, then and only then will we proceed with the tournament.
  • Should the tournament be delayed due to the weather, and we decide to launch, the check-in times will stand as posted.
  • If the storms or warnings have not passed or expired prior to 10:00am, the director and staff will make the decision to cancel that day of fishing.
  • If the Director’s Classic is cancelled, then USA BASSIN will Refund $120.00 of the entry fee.
