Latest News U.S.A. Bassin to Support: K.E.C.C. Open Charity Bass Tournament Tuesday, September 15, 2009 The Kentucky Employees Charitable Campaign (KECC) www.kecc.org is a partnership of Kentucky state employees and six accredited state-wide charities, who together work to make a significant difference in the lives of our families, friends and neighbors throughout the Commonwealth. KECC partner charities represent more than a thousand charitable programs and agencies addressing health and human services needs in Kentucky.
This tournament is hosted by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's Division of Environmental Services.
The date and time is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm Saturday, October 3, at the Possum Ridge ramp (Taylorsville Lake KY State Park).
Participants can register at the State Park pavilion from 5:30 to 7:00 a.m. with a entry fee of $80 that includes big fish (cash only) at registration. Approximately 60% of the entry fees will be paid back to the anglers and 40% is donated to charity. Payouts will be based on one place per ten entries.
There will also be donation items to be given away. We at U.S.A. Bassin www.USABassin.com will be giving away up to two free memberships towards the 2010 season. The awarded team if fishing alone will only receive one membership, if the team consists of two anglers then two free memberships will be awarded.
FLW Outdoors (specifically Bill Taylor), will be providing a FLW weigh-in trailer and has donated two FLW Co-angler entry certificates as door prizes! We are also getting good support from other organizations, businesses and individuals.
