Ohio River Open

Ohio River Open

Monday, August 20, 2018

The final event of the Indiana Lucas Oil Big Money Tournaments series was held on the Ohio River out of Duffy's Landing. It was tough fishing, as the river is known for, but the team of Brad Moser and Natalie Lowe bested the field of 22 boats and took home the guaranteed first place prize of $1,500.

The team brought in four keepers for 5.66lbs. Moser reported that they caught three fish very early on a spinnerbait and then added their fourth keeper around 2:00. "With the water being really dirty right now we went to the very backs of creeks to look for the cleanest water we could find. It gets tough this time of year with all of the boat traffic," he said.

For the win, they won $1,500 as well as an invite to the Lucas Oil Tournament of Champions.
