Mike Culberson of Antioch, TN and Pat Moses of Mt. Juliet, TN found the winning combination on a day that started out threatening heavy rains. Skies cleared and changed to bright sunshine. Good fishermen that they are, they adapted to the changes and found a successful strategy for seek out and capture. They brought in a five fish bag with a net weight of 11.80 pounds. Included in their bag was Mike’s Big Bass winner of 6.75 pounds. Additionally, the team won the gift certificate from our sponsoring Tracker Boat Dealer at Bass Pro Shop – Nashville. You know that we did not photograph fish in order to reduce stress and give them a better chance of survival. Let me ask this. Does Mike (on the right) look like a fisherman who just caught a fish worth over $100.00 per pound?

 

From Gallatin, TN the team of Anthony Guffie and Davie Breeder were pushing hard and were less than one half pound behind with 11.35 pounds for second place.

 

Really pushing them and by the difference of one swallowed minnow were Danny Barksdale of Ashland City, TN and Jeff Barksdale of Cedar Hill, TN with a net weight of 11.30 pounds.

 

 

Representing Divisions from Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee we had six Division Champion teams competing for Regional Points Champion. From Georgia we had the teams of Camp Erwin/Rick Camp and Brandon Stooksbury/Brian Elder. From Tennessee the teams of Chris Coats/Curt Cline and Mickey Beck/Danny Hawkins.  Kentucky contributed Cliff Flournoy/Randall McQuady and Tony Edmonds/Paul Carpenter. Pictured below in the front row right hand side are the Regional Points Champs Mickey Beck and Danny Hankins.
