Massachusetts State Regional

The Massachusetts State Regional was held on Big Squam and featured a guaranteed first place prize of $1,000. The fishing was tough overall, but the top teams were able to figure out the fall transition period and bring in limits.

Taking first was Beau Mowry and Rob Paterson who brought in 8.87lbs to the scales. They reported catching around a dozen keepers throughout the day. "It was one about every half an hour or so and no real pattern," said Mowry. "We caught them on typical smallmouth stuff like jigs and a drop-shot."
