Latest News Brownie's Southern Indiana Regional Monday, September 21, 2020 The Brownie's Southern Indiana Regional was held on Monroe Lake and featured 149 boats doing their best to take home the guaranteed $5,000 first place prize. Taking the win was the team of Mike Winkelman and Tim Smith, who had a tough practice but put it together for the tournament. "We were both pretty surprised," says Winkelman. "We caught one keeper in two days of practice. It was a tough bite." During the event, the team reported catching seven fish all day and just five of them were keepers. Those five weighed 17.66lbs and were enough for the win. "We had four of them by 9:30 and caught our fifth keeper around noon," said Winkelman. The team targeted mid-range depths and focused on rock with jigs to secure the victory. Top 5
