Renegade / Prowler Regional

The Renegade / Prowler Regional was held on the Rough River this past weekend. The tournament featured a guaranteed first-place prize of $5,000 and was sponsored by Renegade Marine and Prowler Pro Pitch Lures.

The team of Neil Mellott and BJ Fitzgerald took the win with a limit weighing 14.64lbs. They reported a tough bite, but found enough to win the event.

"We had three fish early and then finished out limit midday," said Fitzgerald. "We had two four pounders and the other three were solid keepers."

They focused on rock in the mainlake section and targeted depths of eight to 12-feet of water with Ned Rigs and crankbaits.
