Taking the win was Jeff Mullen and Jeremy New, who finished second in the event last year. "Last year, we lost some key fish and ended up finishing second," said New. "It felt good to win this year because it is always a grind this time of year. Every bite is so crucial." The team culled three times during the day and said it was an all-day bite and that they flipped tubes on their way to victory. "The key was to keep your nose down and work for each bite," added New.
