Douglas Lake is around 38 feet lower than normal and created a few hiccups, but none that dampened the tournament. With 250 boats vying for the title of champion, competition was fierce and many culled nice fish.

The top 5 are:

1. Ralph Loveday / Robert Gamble 14.96 lbs
2. Robert Heath / Bill Bales 14.90 lbs.
3. George Hazelbaker / Randy Dyke 14.02 lbs.
4. Jody Blackburn / Tim McCameron 12.75 lbs.
5. Robert Baker / Brad Wall 12.16 lbs.

Big fish was 6.53 lbs and weighed in by Gary Sands and Shane May.
