Latest News Bass Cat Classic Wednesday, May 04, 2022 The Bass Cat Classic was held on April 29th and 30th on Lake Chickamauga and featured a top prize of a Bass Cat Caracal with a Mercury 225hp Pro XS. Taking the win was Kevin Meunier and Kenny Heckel 40.38lbs. The team started off the event right with an 8.81lb bass being their first fish of the day on Day 1. They kept it up all day targeting shallow wood with an American Baitworks Freedom Jig in a bluegill pattern to catch 26.98lbs and earn the lead after the first day. The second day was tougher, but they had enough to seal the deal. "Today, we only caught five keepers and they were much smaller," they said. "We stayed shallow flipping jigs the whole event and it was mainly targeting wood." The team would like to thank Renegade Marine and Vicious Fishing for their support.
