Mother Nature Working Overtime!

Mother Nature Working Overtime!

Thursday, May 05, 2011

Mother Nature is always hard at work filling up or local lakes, rivers and streams. Spring 2011 has been no exception and in fact she has been working overtime. She has hammered areas with record rainfall causing flooding in many states across the country. USA Bassin' has been notified by area lake managers that Lake Monroe, Patoka Lake, and parts of the Ohio River to stop all tournaments until further notice.USA Bassin' ( CEO/Founder) Kevin Yeary has asked that all Bassin' anglers contact their directors to assure that the tournaments are a go.

USA Bassin' will comply with any and all wishes of the Department of Natural Recourses and area Lake Managers .High Water is expected to continue in most of the Midwest through the month of May. Many boat ramps are closed. Please use extreme caution when attempting to launch in high water. With water conditions at maximum levels many times it will require a ramp built for high water launching. After a long winter we are all ready for our divisions to get tournaments underway. However we must use our best judgment and extreme caution to assure the safety of all anglers.
