Latest News Kansas State Regional Monday, September 25, 2023 The Kansas State Regional was held on La Cygne Reservoir on September 16th and produced some good weights, including Brock and Jeff Miller's 16.50lb bag. They took home the win over the second-place team of Rodman and Sloan, who had 14.72lbs. The Miller team rode an early bite for the win. "We culled a few times, but all of the fish came before 11:00," said Jeff Miller. "The morning bite was key and we caught all of the fish on the same 300-yard stretch of riprap. The water is lower than usual so there is no grass and we stayed on that riprap with finesse techniques." They caught fish on Ned Rigs and Senkos, but their biggest bass came on another bait. "We were catching fish but they were all the same size and were trying for a bigger bite," he said. "The big one was 5.81lbs and came on a weightless Yamamoto Yamatanuki on a 5/O hook." Top 5
