Bass Crazy

Bass Crazy

Sunday, June 16, 2013

Next Generation divisions are producing young anglers across the country that show some amazing talent. Young Nicholas “Nick” Flynn now eight years old was a toddler when his dad first became involved with USA BASSIN as a tournament director on Patoka Lake. As Adam became long term with BASSIN so did Nick. Nick has been riding in a boat with dad since he could dawn a life jacket. On June 8th this year INNG-01 launched at safe light and Nick and his dad was ready. After eight hours of hopping jigs Nick had landed the only two fish of the day for team. Team Flynn wasn’t able to come up with a prize winning weight of the tournament but made memories that will last for a lifetime. Nick had never caught a fish in a tournament let alone two solid keeper bass in one day. Nick’s dad says he feels” practice with a jig in farm ponds has enabled him to recognize a bite and has made him a good jig fisherman. Nick is the oldest of three children of Adam and Ashlee Flynn and both agree Nick has become “Bass Crazy”. Nick has a five year old brother Eli that is also an up and coming young angler and a three year old sister Bella. Other than fishing Nick has been riding his bike and being outdoors this summer before entering the third grade. Some of Nicks other favorite things include.
