Latest News INNG-01 Monroe Lake Youth Division Tuesday, September 03, 2013 USA BASSIN Next Generation is now finishing up the fourth season. Those that competed in the 2013 year have earned valued points that will advance them to the Next Generation Classic. INNG-01 the very first Next Generation division to form for BASSIN has crowned the divisional champion for the 2013 season. Jordan Smith and David Hargis easily captured the title. This is the first divisional for Jordan and David. However, the team of Hargis and Smith is no stranger to USA BASSIN Next Generation competition. David was teamed up with Jordan’s brother Josh for the first three years of the division and won the title two years in a row. Jordan has proved to be the angler that his brother was when he was paired with David his step-father. David and Jordan plan to attend the Next Generation Classic in June of next year.
Here's how they did it: Date: 04/27/2013: 1st. Place 3 Fish; Total Weight: 8.88; Points earned 100 Date: 06/08/2013: 1st. Place 4 Fish; Total Weight: 12.17; Points earned 100 Date: 06/29/2013: 2nd Place 1 Fish; Total Weight: 2.17; Points earned 99 Date: 07/20/2013: 1st. Place 4 Fish; Total Weight: 14.62; Points earned 100 Date: 08/04/2013: 1st. place 5 Fish; Total Weight: 11.53; Points earned 100 The team weighed in 17 fish during the season. Weighed in a total of 49.37 pounds. Their biggest fish for the season weighed-in at 5.00lbs.They finished the season with 499 points and won the division over team Alan Harris / Tyler Harris by 106 points. Congratulations again to David Hargis / Jordan Smith for winning the Divisional Championship and good luck at the Lucas Oil Tournament Of Champions.
