Latest News U.S.A. Bassin BPS/Tracker Tournament Rewards Winners VA-1 4/27/08 Tuesday, May 06, 2008 Team Burley Warf/Brent Chapman cash-in on the U.S.A. Bassin Bass Pro Shops/Tracker Tournament Rewards Program on April 27, 2008.
The team was fishing out of a Blue & White 2007 Nitro 929DC boat that was purchased at Conrad Marine in Moneta, VA.
Team Warf/Chapman finished 3rd in the VA-1 Conrad Brothers Marine division at Smith Mountain Lake with a (5) fish limit of 15.06lbs including Big Fish with a 5.10lb LM out of a 48 boat field. The team caught their fish by blind casting a Senko in 6 to 8 ft water towards cruising fish. They also caught fish on Carolina rigs off deep Rocky Points.
By fishing in a U.S.A. Bassin tournament with a 30 boat or more field out of a Nitro boat and placing in the event, the team is eligible for the BPS Tournament Rewards bonus of $250 ($200 in cash and $50 in Bass Pro Shops Reward Points).
“It was a very close tournament and we were happy with the out come. We thought it would take closer to 20lbs, so we were very happy getting third place with our 15.06lbs.”
