Latest News Next Generation National Champs Monday, June 29, 2015 The father and son duo of Mike and Corey Staggs had a great year and were crowned the Next Generation national points champions. They have been fishing USA Bassin events together since 2011 and now that Corey is 18, he will be moving on from the Next Generation events and is planning to continue his fishing career at the collegiate level. Team Skaggs fished 14 USA BASSIN tournaments this season and won two of them. Overall, they finished in the Top 10 in 10 of the tournaments! They finished the season with a total of 1193 points en route to their points title. Mike is understandably proud of their accomplishments together and stated that Corey is looking into several colleges with the school's bass fishing teams being part of the search.
