Latest News News and Updates for the 2009 Season![]() Wednesday, January 14, 2009 The U.S.A. Bassin 2009 season is in full swing. With most or all fall/winter tournament anglers getting a head start to the season. But, the spring season is just around the corner!
If you’re like me in the middle of a cool/cold winter; then you are getting cabin fever and ready to get back into the action! We’ll just have to suffer through a few more nasty weeks until we can get the lines wet, and get back into tournament action!
I would like to go over a few changes for the 2009 season and insure we have an even better tournament trail than that of last year!
Start thinking about what divisions/tournaments you will be fishing this season. Help out your directors and fellow anglers by sending in your membership dues before your first tournament starts.
Sending in your membership dues will be a great help for the director and fellow anglers not having to wait so long in the weather to get through the registering process. This also speeds up the time it takes the director to get results posted to our site. Also, it helps director answer the #1 question anglers ask. “How many boats are you going to have” The better idea an angler has as to the number of participants a tournament will have the more likely they will decide to fish.
Decide which tournament you will fish first. Then look under the Division tab on the home page of www.usabassin.com and get the directors address. Fill out the membership form found on the site under the Information tab. Make membership due checks out to the director. You can also make checks out to the director to pre-pay for any tournaments if you wish. Make sure to post date no later than 10 days before the event. The director can either send you your membership cards in the mail or if you prefer it can be handed to you on tournament morning. Just write a little note to them on how you want to receive your membership cards.
Please remember to checkout the www.usabassin.com for Rules, Updates, Schedule Changes, Exciting Angler Interviews and Division Pictures/news. Sign-up on our site to be able to view, post and receive our news letter. If you have trouble signing up for the site, email me at Hrootbeer1@aol.com with your Nick name, name, email and password so I can get you logged onto the system.
