Latest News USA BASSIN Co-Ed Classic![]() Tuesday, September 13, 2016 The USA BASSIN Co-Ed Classic was held on Kentucky Lake out of Ken Lake State Park on September 10th and 11th. 41 co-ed teams fished the event in hopes of taking home the title this year. The winning team was Ted and Donna Milby who won the event despite catching just one fish on the second day. The first day they weighed in a 20.40 limit with a 5.48lb big bass. According to the team, they caught that limit by 9:00 the first morning. "I asked Donna what time it was when we caught our last one and it was 8:49. After that we left and started looking for more areas for the next day," Ted Milby said. They caught their fish on a homemade spinnerbait that Ted makes and also on a 10" Zoom Ol' Monster worm. The second day they returned to the same area but never caught a fish. They scrambled and searched for more schools on the ledges and came up empty. They decided to stop on a bridge and Donna caught a big one. "She's really good with a swimbait and caught one that weighed 6.24lbs," he said. That was all they caught that day but it was good enough for the big fish of the tournament and gave them the weight they needed to win the tournament. Congrats to all of the top finishers!
