Latest News Northern Indiana Regional Wednesday, October 12, 2016 Maggie's Landing on the St. Joe River was the host of the Northern Indiana Regional. The river features a slot limit where only bass less than 12 inches or over 15 inches can be weighed. With this slot limit, the fish above the slot limit are a premium. Figuring out the puzzle was John Federnok and Mike Haws who weighed four "overs" and brought 11.78lbs to the scales en route to a win. They took home the $1,000 guaranteed first place prize for the win. "We caught three of them on topwaters and the rest came ion soft plastics fished on the bottom," said Federnok. The team said the fishing was tough and credited their win for experience on the river system. Congrats to all of the top finishers!
