Seniors Classic

Important Points To Remember!

• Qualification:
  • Both team members must be at least FIFTY (50) years of age prior to November 6, 2025, to be eligible to participate in the USA BASSIN Seniors Classic. 
  • All participating Teams must have finished the 2025 season with at least 250 points.
    • Teams are NOT REQUIRED to fish in a regional event to qualify for this tournament.
    • Substitutions are not permitted. 
    • One team member may fish alone
  • Federal, State, and local Licensed Guides currently guiding on Kentucky and Barkley Lakes are not eligible to participate in the Seniors Classic.
  • Any anglers winning this event three (3) times will not be eligible to participate in any future USA Bassin Seniors Classic.
• Dates:
  • The tournament waters will be open to pre-fishing.
  • Official Practice will open starting October 15th, 2025 and continue through to the start of Day One .
    • During the Official Practice, teams may not employ a licensed guide nor communicate with any person who is not competing in the Senior’s Classic to gain an advantage over the remainder of the field. NO LOCKING will be permitted.
  • Registration & Pretournament Meeting: Wednesday, November 5th, 2025.
  • Day 1: Thursday, November 6th, 2025.
  • Day 2: Friday, November 7th, 2025.
  • Rain Out Day: Saturday, November 8th, 2025.
• Registration & Pretournament Meeting:
  • Registration for this event will be held at the Kentucky Dam Marina Boat Ramp starting at 3:00 PM (Central Time), Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, with the pre-tournament meeting to follow promptly at 4:00 PM (Central Time). One member of each team must be present at the pre-tournament registration and meeting, or that team will be disqualified. You may use a proxy if both team members are unable to attend the mandatory meeting. There will not be a Proxy Fee for this event.
• Entering the Event:
  • The entry fee for this tournament is $150.00.
  • All mailed-in entries must be post marked by October 15th, 2025.
  • USA BASSIN will accept a VISA or Master Card payment until October 31th, 2025 (There will be a 7% Service Fee for paying with a credit card)
  • Cash only entries will be accepted for the Seniors Classic at the pre-registration meeting for this event. There will be a $10.00 fee for paying an entry at registration.
  • This event is limited to 250 teams.
  • Starting position (boat) numbers will be issued based on when a team's entry is received. 
• Refunds- 
  • Tournament Director must be contacted on or before October 15th, 2025, prior to 4:00 PM EST. USA BASSIN will refund $120.00 of the Entry Fee.
  • After October 15th, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST, there will not be a refund of the Entry Fee.
  • To receive your refund, please e-mail your mailing address along with the name of the event to: customerservice@usabassin.com.
• Weather Delays and Cancelations:
  • Small Watercraft Wind Advisory: If the wind is projected to be 18 MPH or greater (based on The Weather Channel App) at any time during the Tournament Hours the director may cancel that day of the tournament.
  • In the event of extreme weather conditions such as extreme weather warnings and/or extreme lightning, the tournament director may put the tournament on hold until all warnings expire and/or the severe weather has passed. Then, and only then, will that tournament day proceed.
  • Should the tournament be delayed due to the weather, and the decision to start the tournament is made, the check-in times will remain as announced.
  • If the storms or warnings have not passed or expired prior to 10:00am, the tournament director shall make the decision whether to cancel that day of fishing.
  • Examples:  
    • If Day 1 of the tournament is canceled, then we will repeat Day 1 takeoff schedule on Day 2 and it will be a one day shoot-out type event. 
    • If Day 2 of the tournament is canceled, then the leaders of Day 1 will be crowned the winners.
    • Should both scheduled days of this tournament (November 6th & 7th) be canceled due to a weather-related circumstance, then Saturday, November 8th will be used as a rain out day and we will use the Day 1 takeoff schedule. We will only use Saturday, November 8th as a rain-out day if both scheduled days have been canceled.
    • If all three days are canceled, then USA BASSIN will Refund $120.00 of the entry fee.
    • ALL decisions by the tournament director are final.
